Glenn Hamilton

Glenn Hamilton is the President, CEO and founder of Amerimet, America’s leading processor, distributor and exporter of aluminum and steel coil sheet products. Glenn is well known throughout Florida, the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America as a successful and reputable executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in the metals processing and manufacturing industry.

Glenn’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration and mathematics from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. Subsequent to his graduation from Mount Union, he earned a master’s degree in international business from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona.

After graduate school, Glenn moved to Lima, Peru to gain experience with an international corporation operating in a foreign country. As a sales executive for a Swiss company with offices throughout South America, he traded agricultural and industrial commodities from suppliers around the world to local processors and manufacturers.

Glenn entered the metals business in 1978 when he returned to the United States and joined Nichols-Homeshield as their Export Manager. During his tenure of eight years, he was promoted first to General Manager of the MSC division and then to Regional Manager for Nichols’ operations in the southeastern United States. Through a company buyout, Glenn became a partner and member of senior management.

In 1986, Glenn launched his career as an entrepreneur by purchasing MSC Metals, the Florida division of Nichols Aluminum. Glenn owned and successfully managed this aluminum processor until he sold out to Fabwel, based in Elkhart, Indiana. After fulfilling his management contract with Fabwel, Glenn expanded his entrepreneurial activities by acquiring a regional window and door manufacturing company, and a local shutter manufacturer.

In January 1996, Glenn purchased the machinery and equipment needed to begin his newest start-up venture, Amerimet Corp. Under his capable leadership, Amerimet has transformed itself into America’s premier metals supplier. Glenn’s management skills, experience, commitment and vision are the trademark qualities that have contributed to Amerimet’s success, and laid the foundation for future growth.
