Mario Carrasco
Amerimet is pleased to introduce Mario Carrasco. As Vice President
of Sales and a principal shareholder in our organization, Mario
has played an integral role in the company’s growth and
development. Utilizing his experience, product knowledge and technical
expertise, he has delivered the sales that have catapulted Amerimet
from a start-up processor in 1996 to America’s first-choice
source for aluminum and steel coil and flat sheet products.
Mario was born and raised in Lima, Peru where he resided until
moving to the United States to pursue his college education. His
academic endeavors were rewarded when he was granted his bachelor’s
degree in mechanical engineering from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville,
Tennessee. Soon after graduation, Mario entered the metals business
when he accepted a position with MSC Metals in 1986. During his
years with this aluminum processor and distributor, Mario held
several positions which provided him with valuable experience
in production, management, operations and sales. After achieving
a superior performance record, Mario was promoted to General Manager
of MSC Metals. Under his direction, MSC enjoyed a period of sustained
growth and prosperity as he guided this aluminum processor to
record highs in both sales and profits.
After 11 years with MSC Metals, Mario left his position as General
Manager to join Glenn Hamilton at Amerimet in what has become
one of the industry’s most experienced management teams.
Mario’s impact on the company’s growth has been impressive
as sales doubled in every one of his first four years. His tireless
pursuit of customer satisfaction has clearly been the catalyst
that has inspired our company to become the customer-driven organization
that it is today. For a company to realize the growth and success
that Amerimet has achieved, its management must possess leadership,
vision, imagination and commitment. As Vice President of Sales,
Mario has demonstrated these qualities in his contribution to
Amerimet’s accomplishments, and continues to do so as a
full partner in the realization of the company’s goals and
opportunities. |
